Jigging whitefish and lake trout on Simcoe is fun and I love it but a change of scenery was needed. Mr Dbfish invited me for an outing on Georgian Bay to target some walleye and I gratefully accepted. I've caught maybe 5 little guys my whole life and never actually targeted them so had no idea what I was doing. Met up at first light and he showed me the rig and explained what to do with it. Well it didn't disappoint. I caught a bunch of eyes with a PB at 25 inches and another 10 pike or so and the better half also got into her PB walleye just 0.5 of an inch short of 25. She landed a bunch of pike as well. It was a fabulous day on the Bay I wont soon forget. Thank you Dale again for taking me under your wing and it was a pleasure meeting your lovely wife.
