Hi Rob. Have a great time. Hopefully you do well!!

We fished around several islands fairly close to the lodge. The furthest we ever got from the lodge was probably a kilometre or two maybe. We fished a bunch of islands. If not too windy we drifted. If windy we anchored in the lee of the islands. Fish finder is invaluable because the underwater changes are crazy. Literally changes of 30 or 40 feet within a few yards. 40 feet or so seemed to be the depth we got most of our fish although we found a bunch of bass in 20.

Good luck.
