Lotta fishing with buncha friends and a serious mentor. Hard to beat.

Nice walters and photos.
Thanks for posting photo of that retriver. I may buy the same, but my boat may lose few kms of top speed

Hopefully you can fish this weekend.

Yes, It's going to be a windy one so i will likely go to a smaller lake. I agree that the wind should push fish to the shallows so the walleyes should also be active shallow.

Love fishing for walleyes in the shallows - the strikes are almost always pretty wild.

We shall see.

Good luck and stay safe.

I am trying to figure out the fishing plan right now. I got home a bit ago, just got finished working nights all week. I have 48 hours to work with. There is a wind warning today for Balsam and Sturgeon on the weather network. I guess I will wait until I get up there, and after I get a little sleep. Then I will decide where the fishing will be out of the wind a little. I will be going after walleye and crappie and bass as soon as the clock hits midnight. I think it was about 3 years ago when the bass were really biting, but when the clock hit midnight and it was time to keep some they were gone. Not one more bass until the next night. LOL Good luck if you get out and stay safe.

Thanks, RM.

The retriever is really a good one. I don't use it often as I mainly fish weedy areas but sometimes you snag a rock or stump and it comes handy.

Good luck if you go and hopefully the bass is willing to bite after midnight .
