Up to a cottage this weekend and bringing the boat. What depths are Lakers at right now and what are they hitting ? Spoons? Any salmon in that area this time of year? TIA

I fish too much in this area if thats possible. Lakers will be caught at marks Point, lots of structure, it doesnt take long to cover the area, watch your graph. but dont fish deeper than 140fow. Also lakers at Cedar Point and Northern shore of Beckwith, these lakers are lazy so make sure you dont bury the release or the rod wont go off. Yes salmon are still there, fish the same areas you would for lakers just dont fish too deep.

Good question ... we don't normally fish for salmon or trout in this area so late in the season. Id imagine they are around. By this time we switch over to walleye or musky in Severn Sound or shore fishing for bows. But based on this years success ill give it a shot a few times just out of curiosity. Your best bet is to head over to the mouth of Notty, Cwood, Meaford/Thirnbury and Owen SOund for something silver or greasy.
