Good evening foruming fish friends!
Just curious if anyone knew if and or when perching will start in Lake Erie? We’ve had very few days good enough to get anywhere near the lake but I just can’t wait. I’d be in the east end, port maitland area. I was out 2 weeks ago and water temps were still only 38 degrees. Still very cold, what temp and depths will I be looking for them at?
As always all input and advice are greatly appreciated and scream those reels!

You’re absolutely right, 🙈 my mistake! That’s what happens when you’re born a half hour from the US border in the 90s haha. I’ll never get them straight.
I just remember going out around this time once and there were schools of them 10 and 20 feet thick. The guy I went with operating the boat made it seem so easy to find lol. I never paid attention to depth and water temperatures.
