Well I spent the first 67 hours of the year on ice. Didn't get as much filmed as I hoped, as the cameras died pretty early on, but managed to get some fun clips on film. Caught the most walleye I have ever caught, including my new PB through the ice, bunch of Pike, bunch of Perch, some Herring and some Mud Puppies. Had a blast. Followed all the social distancing covid-19 rules and traveled and camped on my own with my own stuff. It was a great time!!

Nice!! It takes some dedication to your hobby to go that hard. It looks like you had a good time. Would you have any advice for someone considering doing a first time over nighter solo?

Best thing is to go prepared. Lots of propane, extra batteries, food etc. Get a nice size popup and a cot/sleeping bagqnd you're ready to rock. Highly recommend experience.

As long as you're following all the rules in place you should be ok. Fishing is open, Travel is not restricted. If you travel alone or with your own household and go prepared so you don't need to stop at any stores then you're not breaking any laws. Spoke to MNR OPP and By laws
