Or maybe the workers making the pogos or the big macs, and coffees. So your suggestion is a full lockdown I guess. Hopefully you have the money to last through all of it.

we have to stop blaming folks for social gathering, the government keeps pushing that but i don't believe it. They are grasping straws, those restaurant and bars and gyms to blame still after being closed forty plus days.  The nursing homes are getting destroyed again because of this government.

Well I have to ask you, how do you think covid is making its rounds, on the end of a pogo stick, or maybe it comes with a big mac and coffee.

Let's not beat that dead horse again please.

It would be nice if north bay public health would chime in and clear the air with lockdown rules regarding operators. Talked to a few now and getting differing info.

Different information: Ask your outfitter if they are open, should be a simple yes or no answer. Next you would have to been booked before the lockdown. If you are still ok, now you are suppose to follow the Ontario government lock down rules on social gatherings ( there is no different info here ) the whole province is the same. You can not gather inside with anyone other than those from your household. If you live alone you may join one other family for mental health reasons. These are the rules and regulations we are telling our clients.

I've been going up to Nip for 10+ years Mid January, renting a cottage and hut (booked in for next Wednesday now going by myself). Not really what i wanted to do, but i need it!

Im extremely happy that this is how it will be handled and hope that this does not change in any way. Its fishing for crying out loud

Thank you for your insight SSIC.

I can now sleep easier .....until Tuesday night that is!

PUMPED UP!!!!!

Just curious if people are being fined sharing an ice hut with someone not in your household. Is the OPP or the MNR issuing the tickets?..or are they letting it slide because this is essential to the outfitters?

I'm providing a link to explain my answer somewhat. These guys were not fishing but gathered together and were not from the same household so you take for what it's worth. I'm assuming they were all from this Health Unit.

So, with the rules being clear, I'm having a hard time believing that all of the hundreds of bungalows on nippissing are going to be occupied by same family renters. It'll be interesting how many people will end up with the $800 fines by seasons end.

Yikes, I've seen checkpoints coming off the lake but never going on the lake! As an operator are you finding customers being not allowed to access the their bungalows?

I've been told they were asking.
ID were you live?
Renting a hut?
When did you book?
Never stopped anyone from continuing on.
Was told no charges laid.
It wasn't a ride check.
