Spending Monday-Thursday at Nick and Neko’s with our boys. Yesterday was an amazing start for us. Plenty of good size perch, 2 pike and a dozen or so eyes, including 2 keepers. So far today has been a bit slower, the bite is soft and we are losing as many as we catch, but the suns out, the kids are having fun, can’t ask for more than that.

The following two days continued to be the best ice fishing we’ve ever experienced. We stopped counting walleye and perch, picked up another keeper walleye on day two. A couple pike and a ling this morning. The harder we worked at it the more we caught, I found as long as we were aggressively jigging one hole with a crank bait or spoon the fish came on readily. When we got lazy about it, it slowed down. A great getaway for the family, thanks to nick and neko, we will be back.

Well done, sounds like you guys had a great couple of days up there with a nice variety of fish landed. Thanks for the reports and glad the family enjoyed the experience
