small river again

Well buddy and I went out for perch today. We ended at noon with 22 perch, 9 bluegill, 2 big catfish, 2 big bass, 1 sheepshead. and lots of little fish. the picture is what I brought home, buddy took 16 perch. I almost kept the catfish to smoke, but don't have the time.

That will be a tasty feast. I was fishing for four nights in the kawarthas came back tuesday night. It just occurred to me I never caught one perch or blue gill. That's weird, I do not think that has ever happened before. Enjoy your fish.

I already miss those striped little bandits, will go later this month with kids for them on Simcoe.
So many good choices what to fish for right now so hard to choose.

Looks good!

I had hoped to go out of Collingwood today, but looking carefully at the weather forecast on various sites last evening, I decided not to go.

When I checked the radar at 8am today, heavy rain and probably a T-storm in that area.

Glad I stayed home.
