Hello all,

looking to head out of deep water point, wondering what the ice conditions are like, how is the thickness as well? I know there is some i repeat some colder weather coming up which should harden things up but i think we can all assume this will be like no recent years on nipp.

Heard mixed reviews on deep water, so i figured i would ask the masses.

I do appreciate any information and hope everyone on the forum a safe and prosperous fishing season.

Cheers.

I have heard 6 1/2 " to 9". I did not measure over that way only going by rumours. There is 6" to 8" of snow. I have seen fourwheelers out but ski-doo is your best bet.

I do appreciate the information, will be exercising caution and bringing floatation etc. Some cold weather "Colder" this week should gain some steam.
