Last week the pros beat up simcoe bass so I waited till Thursday for my fix.I headed on at 11am,it was like glass.Saw a number of boats different areas so I stayed 1 mile away.A breeze picked up from the south,I had a shoal, sand flat and was in front of a weed flat in 6 to 8 feet of water. You could not see the bass but when I casted my presentation in front of that bed, bang, one after another. After 4 bass I see the boats creeping closer and closer.I had my best day at 11 for 15.Stretched line, dull hooks,I left to go home.If you run into a school of bass under your boat, electric motor 180 degrees to back off front the fish, wait ten minutes and cast long casts flora carbon leaders and you will get them

Remember this, the fish patterns are changing daily, they are spooky, filled with rusties and hiding from the fishing pressure

Today we found them in deeper water. Caught them directly under the boat with spot lock on. Most were in around 2-2.5 lbs. a 5 lbs + came up to the surface and got us changing lures for a while but she was just a tease.

Nice fish and report .

Was out there all weekend and did extremely well .

Also , headed up to couch one day and did good off the limestones .

They sure like the clear line and long casts.
