Hook size depends on the size of the spoon being used.
For single siwash hooks I use 3/0 on a regular sized spoon and 4/0 on magnum models.
I change out all treble hooks to Gamakatsu siwash single hooks after making a small bend in the barbed section of roughly 15 degrees.
If you prefer treble hooks, size 1/0 for regular sized spoons and 2/0 for magnums.
Owner siwash hooks are excellent quality and have a slightly larger barb than the Gamakatsu siwash hooks.
