A few friends and I have been up to Owen Sound fishing from shore a number of times and struck out every time. Anyone having much success? Been up in evenings/mornings and have done the harbour wall and river. Floating spawn and throwing spoons.

Nothing lost. Found a snag that was 4 single hooks with egg sacs. Unsnagged it and took it home to take apart. somehow it didnt seem right using 4 single hooks... checked regs to find it is legal, but still doesnt seem right. Nice time with my son fishing. We saw a beauty swim by, and a couple black ones. Maybe next time we will convince a nice one to take the line for a run!

Nothing like some fishing to bond with the kids, fish or not. Keep it up and you'll be into em before you know it.
