There should be no Commercial Fishing nor any Netting allowed by anyone, anywhere. I see many Lakes that we currently stock being exploited by Netting.

I can't see how angling is an issue when a lot of people do not keep their catch to eat?

Lots of lakes around here that used to hold native populations of fish that either aren't what they used to be or no longer hold native populations. Or are stressed get closed to ice fishing, etc.
They got over-fished. No nets. Angling can ruin a fishery if you let it.

I can't comment on LOTW as I'm not familiar enough with it.
