Ive seen those same worms in the stomach as well but only inlake trout and speckles. I havent seen them in numbers like that but I have no doubt the meat is safe to eat . It is a little unnerving when you cut open the stomach and they wiggle out. You have yourself a great fishing partner…. she will always fish with you. I love the persistence.

great report and your daughter really is a trooper

I have also seen those worms in the very odd lake trout, but not that many.....wish I could help id them, but I never bothered to pursue it

agree, meat is not affected

I've seen them before. Lots of lob lakers have them. I too have only seen them in the stomach. As far as I know, meat is unaffected
