Thank you for all the feed back from everyone. This is quite the place where I see you all offering advice and cheers to new and old fishers. I enjoy seeing the interaction of people, advice given and knowledge passed on. As for that beaver, my two favorite places to fish both have beavers. One balsam beaver, one sturgeon beaver. Maybe the fish do not care that they are there anymore...not sure.

All of those fish were caught on balsam at night from shore. It is a very secluded spot. I have never seen any one fish with in 200 yards from me...ever.

Nice fish indeed. Not trying to be a killjoy, but isn’t the slot for walleye 13.77”-19.68” or 30-50cm? Just a question.
Thanks jerkbaiter for the clarification...all those fish were caught on balsam. Just love when you catch a monster and you can keep it. I only fish balsam in a east wind or strong north wind because my secret spot is protected in the way the shore is shaped. West side of sturgeon I get blown away in east wind so it is always balsam on those windy days.
