I would pick a colour that you have confidence in maybe something natural or Percy colour. Not a single hook wiggle wart if targeting musky in the fall.

I thought this fishing forum was to pass on advice to help other people fish. Not to tell someone not to use something that clearly works. I just caught a muskie a couple weeks ago with that lure and posted the picture with the lure still in the mouth of the muskie. I also just said that lure has caught a few dozen muskie. And those muskie were caught in Sept. Oct. and Nov. And 2 or 3 in Aug. Not sure why you like to contradict someone.. Not once but twice. I have been fishing longer than you have been alive. I just like being as helpful and as courteous as I can be. Here is the picture again.

Good luck too bad my friends and I will not be up there for a couple of weeks. Stay safe.

It's true that bass fishermen caught more muskie than musky fishermen.
However, muskie are caught and released by musky guys more safely, as they have necessary equipment like heavy tackles, big net, etc.

For sure I will use big lures if target the fish.
