Just got a new pair of scotty electric downriggers. Wondering what size weights I should run and if anyone knows any places to get them in the barrie area. I was thinking somewhere around 10 to 15 would be good but Canadian tire and cabelas don't have much of a selection. I've seen the shark weights online that look pretty good but not sure where to find them around here

For sure visit Happi Hookah he has POW's
Titans are great, that what I run and they are now made by POW so he may have both in stock. I suggest a more streaminled shape instead of the round, less blowback.

I got mine from Martin kelter who was making them lest year. Not sure how POW will handle production and distribution this year. Either way call happi Hookah, he can answer your questions.

If your running Scotty electrics I’d go with a 12lb ball. They will pull them like nothing and it’s a very versatile weight. I run 12’s on my big boat. 15’s have a place but for me it’d be very deep, and my walkers won’t pull them anyway.

I myself run Scotty's, and noticed a big improvement all around when I switched from 10lb balls to 12lb sharks. There is a guy in Chesley that sells them. Message me and I can provide details

Drew from Watsons saved me a two hour drive,he offered to meet me with my order one day when he was heading to oro to turkey hunt. As Dave said good to support the little guy. Dont think cabbelas would make that offer.

I run Scotty high speed riggers and have 10, 12 and 15 lb weights. Try and find someone that makes them and save yourself big bucks. The only time the 15 comes out is when I run 100 ft plus or wanna drag bottom for lakers. The 15 is shaped like a fish and snagged it for $37.50 out west before I moved back- wish I had of grabbed two in hindsight.
