New owners of Loon Lodge told me there was a ton of corn in the whitefish he was catching in the fall. Any one try that on hard water?.. We always did 2 way spreader and very small minnows. Salted ones worked well.

What is a dump can and what might it look like? Also, do you salt the barley?

Have heard from a few people now that burbs are plentiful out there. What depths are you finding the ling? We tried all sorts of depths but didn't manage to find any unfortunately.

The lake is so beautiful but jeez the fish are in weird depths compared to what we're used to. We couldn't find the whities either. On simcoe we fish 20-30fow and pound them but couldn't find them. Walleye were also not in depths we're used to.

I didn't find the ling either I was fishing at around 60ft to 80ft of water. The white fish found it at that depth and stayed in that depth the whole time. I find that the white fish there bite so soft. Use a small minnow I think it would work better catch two twite fish with a minnow but got away in the whole the one I caught I was using a red and white William spoon. Such beautiful lake cant wait to go back again.
