Great decision by Bear Creek. This would be my groups 6th year going with outfitters on Nippising, and Bear Creek was the best experience we’ve had. Shawn and Terra are great owners and run their business top notch. We have had to cancel our “first ice” fishing trip, and although it is a dampener, we have rebooked for later in the season and hope that things turn around.
It is hard to see family run businesses struggling when it is their livelyhood at stake. I suggest to anyone who does end up getting out with any outfitter anywhere to take into consideration the struggles they may feel on their businesses and take up a collection from your group to not only pay your bill, but throw a little more than usual into the “tip” jar. They are more than deserving for what they do out there, and how well they take care of each and every one of us.

I agree completely with you suprnewf. We all need to be considerate and ensure that all of our OUTFITTER families will make it through these challenging times. Tithe guys/gals where you can. 🙏
