Hi everyone
Heading up to Callander Bay Tuesday and was wondering if it is walk out only on the bay or is the ice solid enough for a snowmobile. Don’t mind the walk, just don’t want to tow the machine up if it’s not safe. Thanks for any info.

Sleds, ATVs pounding the ice now at least in the heavy hut area. I’ve seen sleds crossing the bay itself too.

Noticed one SUV and 3 full size trucks venture out on the ice yesterday in C.Bay but staying to the inside of the hut ring I think. Note: seems to be slush still around especially part way out from shore a good line of it before the hut ring. Can’t say I’ve measured the ice lately but slush was pretty bad a few days ago around hut which has improved a bit now however I haven’t had re-drill holes for some time now.

I haven’t measured recently but my hut holes started freezing over nicely yesterday and I didn’t notice any slush anymore. So things are getting better!!!
