The lack of response is probably due to the fact that ice fishing is not as prominent in the Kawartha Lakes as other areas. I am not aware of any ice fishing operators in the area. If I was looking for a day of quality ice fishing with an operator I would look at the East side of Simcoe for options.
If you want to forego the operator some of the lakes like Chemong have decent Crappie ice fishing. There is also a few smaller lakes that allow Walleye during ice season. Apparently Balsam has Pike these days as well.

there is lots of ice hut operators, just north of the Kawartha's in Haliburton /Minden area, and as mentioned lots in Lk. Simcoe. Not much of an industry on Kawartha's as it i just panfish, and close to shore walking distance. Whereabouts on the Kawarthas are ya, western region has much more proximity to rental opps.
