I heard that two vehicles went in in Callander Bay (narrows) and one at Amelia or the sewage plant outfall area. The timing and locations lend an air of credibility to both.

Anyone have any news?
Would not surprise me. We were out today and there was only 6 inches of good ice with 4 inches of white on top of that.

North Bay has one towing company that is set up to pull vehicles out if they happen to go through the ice. If required, they will send down divers who can hook up the vehicles. I don't know what the cost would be but it must be very expensive.

Local news reported 2 vehicles. Apparently they will wait to do retrieval after the ice is gone. Not enough good ice for the equipment/rigging required is my guess.
