A delayed post, but been busy.

had an old friend from Italy come out with me and I also invited Steve from the board here to come along and help and more importantly meet an avid fellow angler.

it was a perfect day and we got off to a late start but into fish right away for a few hours.......Then it sort of shut down around 9.30 ish, with only some shots here and there.

My Italian friend had a giant on the dipsey for a while and was quite beside himself with the power of a big salmon....It blew out of the water twice and then unbuttoned.......sadly...........o well , it happens. tacked home and popped a couple of lakers for him as he had never got these before.

Also on this outing stevepod came along and we hit it off as he is my kind of guy when it comes to fishing Pleasure Steve and thanks for the help. Sure we will do some more down the road.

We finished the trip by visiting a local pub for a well deserve big cold one

As for the salmon, right now they are everywhere...........shallow and deep

5 feet to 120 feet , so you can fish multiple styes for them. As an example yesterday I just ran out and set up in 35 FOW and kept going north to 350......took fish along the entire tack.....easy fishing

for those who have not done this, you are missing out of one of the best fisheries in the world and also the absolute best sound........a screaming drag

get out and enjoy this fishery if you can......GL!

What a great day it was full of excitement. Fishing with 2 nice people who love fishing canít really go wrong. The stories that were shared and the memories of the whole experience will last forever. Thanks again Lonshank had a blast. That giant salmon that got off gave me nightmares

Sounds like you've been having some fun out there Shank! Don't wanna stray too far right now incase my wife goes in to labour. Re wired the trailer lights yesterday though so I'm all set for in I'd say a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll be posting soon, I'll let the bugs die down anyway haha!
