OK - need some clarification - understand it is still limited to families or people who live at the same address.

Can I come up with a couple of friends to fish and stay in the same cabin?

We believe up to groups of 5 in the same cottage unless from the same household.

I would think up to 5 unless from the same household, we are just told to follow provincial guidelines.

Great news Jeff for you and all the other operator's up there. Hopefully everyone will use common sense when they are up there because if there is a spike in cases up there I believe they will not hesitate to shut it all down again.

Cheers to a great summer

Have to think the province will relax the number of people permissible in a gathering spot moving up from 5 to say around 25-50'ish shortly.

A gathering of 5 does not help the restaurant and QSR business's in the least and it does crimp lodges looking to rent cabins to larger bigger dollar spending groups of 8 or more.

Wait for it. My bet is that this announcement on numbers increasing is likely to happen next week.

Why you ask ?

Mostly because if the province is OK with protest marches that number in the thousands its pretty hard to stay credible when you say you can't go out for dinner in a restaurant and sit with friends at a table for 6 or 8 .

Cmooooooon Dougie....

I have been told on several occasions that the 5 number applies when you can social distance..ie say a backyard bbg.

I would also like to get my business up and running.

I have a transcript from Transport Canada re. vessels, but I can't get the link to post it

I also wish you all a great and safe season

And I agree , the recent protests are not going to help with this virus thing

I just wish Ford and Vic would me more precise in their opening speeches
