Hopefully the morning bite was kind to some of you lucky guys. Hard to get motivated when the temp here is close to 5C
Chevy,
We started at 0 this morning and it is at -4 now. Showing - 10 at the airport in North Bay currently as well. Calling for a low of -18 tonight and -20 tomorrow night. I can see an operator setting up and a few personal huts being pulled out yesterday and today. A couple pop ups out there this morning also so some folks are fishing.

Hey Neil, not much change in the temperature here. Sitting close to 4C at 4:50 in the afternoon. I’m guessing the early evening bite is on. My favourite time. Cheers

Happy New Year folks. I did get out yesterday along South Shore between Callander Bay and Deep Water Point. Ice was around 7 inches thick so I haven’t put my shack out yet, I just fished outside. Bite was pretty steady with a good late afternoon run. Caught around 20 walleye, 2 perch, a pike and a Cisco. Kept a couple walleye within the new slot. Lost a big one at the hole. Unfortunately I forgot my phone at home so no pictures to post. Will try to remember next time.
