All the research I have done states, no more than a gathering of 5 and must be double vaccinated.

Lets go fishing...its been to long for most....Can't wait, 21 days and counting.....

In another post the covid restrictions where posted, I can't seem to find it but it clearly said 5 to a hut but all had to be from the same household except one person who lived by themselves..
I definitively thought your operator could give you a better answer..
Good luck. 👍

This document published January 3rd seems to spell out what is allowed under Short Term Rentals a little less than half way down.
Just the size of this document shows how complicated and confusing it is.

But I still think it is up to your operator/outfitter

As fishmagnent says call him

The current restrictions in Ontario are only in place until January 27th so with any luck maybe things will improve and we wont even have to concern ourselves with these confusing rules. TIGHT LINES

Thanks Neil

Here is what it says for ice huts....

(3) Despite paragraph 1 of subsection (1), persons may rent out an ice fishing hut if,

(a) the ice fishing hut will only be used by members of the same household; and

(b the ice fishing hut will not be used overnight.

Makes zero sense you can rent a hut with the people you live with but you can't stay overnight. You all have to drive home to the same house and stay overnight there.

A bungalow falls under a “motel” because they are equipped with amenities. Your good to go.
