Looking to get into some walleye. Never fished this area. Any suggestions?

I've always found the walleye to be deeper than the rest of the kawarthas but that's just an opinion . Please do remember the special slot size balsam and Mitchell have

Agreed...deep pickeral lots of drop offs we stay just to the side of weed lines where water deepens. Get some charts there are rocks that come out of no where. Favorite trolling...ripplin red cotton cordel the green and white jerk bait. 10 inch zoom worm on quarter ounce long shank jig. Three hour before and after sun set. Water is getting cold so slow show always pickeral lazy fish

My rule of thumb is if your getting bass then go deeper for walleye..
Usually works...
