Hard trip into the back country.

Still suck at getting pictures when I'm solo. I actaully took a net just to help and well it ended up being more trouble than it was worth so back to unhooking beside the canoe.

Crap net looked like it did more damage to the fish so didn't bother on the rest, I just can't kill a fish don't have it in me.

Ow and Big Foot must have been passing by because some massive trees came down across lake.

I felt he was watching me = bigger fire.

Hard but fun.

Best lure of the trip was a syclopse in Orange and Yellow/Silver.

Thanks for the report.
Definitely throw out that net, they are hard on the fish and get yourself the rubber mesh ones..They are much easier on the fish and rarely if ever tangle..
Cheers Dave.

Thanks for the report. Looks like peak leaves and gorgeous. We are usually always up at Rice Lake and that area next week, but can’t go this year since we are from Ohio. Will really miss it. Been going for 53 years and is in our blood!
