I’m not sure which outfitters allow dogs, but I do know a concern is that your beloved pup might eat a minnow with a hook left in it. With that being said, we should never discard fish/ bait with hooks still intact. I always brought my dog when ice fishing on scugog without incident and dearly loved her company. Cheers Kerry

With you in the hut I am sure the dog wasn't too worried that he would be the one getting injured

If your lucky enough to find a place that would allow dogs, be sure to give the hut a once over checking for old hooks.. I'm sure operators won't want to vacuum up hair from the animals... I had 3 dog's and now down to two dog's and its only getting harder to find pet friendly establishment's.. We bring sheets everywhere we go to cover everything that the dogs can get up on. This makes clean up very easy and the hair and sheets go home with us to be washed at home.. Good luck.
