Not to confuse the issue or to steal any thunder from sdcaller's post...but you can make your comments and thoughts on the matter through a direct link to the actual environmental registry's hunting proposal itself.

http://ero.ontario.ca/notice/013-4124

Your comments can be either anonymous or you can register an account. All forms of official comments will be accepted and considered by the provincial governments decision making body.
Comments are being collected until January 3rd 2019.
But as Fisherman and Chevy pointed out in the Outdoors section of the board....best to do it while it's fresh in your minds.
And thanks as well to sdcaller for encouraging and reminding us to take immediate action and make our thoughts known....before we forget to.
The effectiveness of this program will only be evaluated over time. But it's an important issue for anyone that values our fisheries and the other benign species that share cormorant nesting sites.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm a little confused. Is this proposal about making cormorants a game bird and therefore hunters would be expected to eat there kills? If so does anyone know how they taste for lack of a better word?lol. Sorry for being lazy, I read the link and answered my own question. Still would like to know how the taste. Seems to me they should also throw the 50 bird day limit out the window also.
