Hey guys, at the end of the 2025 season I couldn't get my hitch off the vehicle. The lock was completely seized up, and couldn't get the lock to open.
Home depot has these for a great price if anyone needs to replace theirs before you msy have to grind it off.
Cheers and have a great long weekend.

Well, it's one of maintenance things, you have to have a shower and get clean, do the same for your ancillary items like hitch locks and stingers. Clean, lubricate and when not in use, take them out and put them in a bag.

For those interested and many years of using gate locks, boat locks, etc, in miserable weather, Houdini is probably the best lock lube you can get. Not cheap but a little goes a long way. Houdini Lock Lube

Always do. I'm my case the cover on the lock came off , which I didn't notice until the morning the vehicle was going to the body shop for a new back bumper.
In the morning I tried to unlock it but it wouldn't move. So 20 mins before I was supposed to be at the bodyshop I discovered this, of course.
Got my grinder out and had to grind it off. It wasn't fun lol..
I posted this as the price was right.
