Went out with happymoth and his brother. I caught 7 mostly small with 1 being 7lbs 2oz. He was fishing close enough in his hut to mine I watched a fish come off his line halfway up. I managed to reel up to it and steal his fish.

Conditions still holding up after today? Solid rain at my place... wonder if I can sneak out tomorrow yet?

At least the fish you stole from me crapped all over your hut as payback lol. Was a good day though. And I believe most would agree that you have to get the fish above the ice and in your hand to be considered caught. Lol So I think you caught 5 and lost 2 at the hole lol.

Btw for those asking the ice was good, 16-20 inches of black ice every where we went today. Took the quad all over the lake today.

Watch for the bubblers. The one spot is getting a little sketchy with a machine. We found another spot to get on with the quad today.

beauty, chunky laker

I know the policy of this forum is it's ok to name the larger lakes, I think that should be reconsidered, there's tons of lurkers on here

Nice going bud! You seem to have an act for putting large fish on the ice. Well done

Maybe---but naming access points should definitely be banned.

For well established members here there is a serious 'back channel' called PMs.

If everyone put back anything over 5 lbs naming lakes wouldnt be a problem at all. 5 lbs is my cut off for eating
