It was fairly slow for our hut. 25 fish over the 3 days. Mostly in the hut but a few tip ups and a Jaw Jacker outside that didn't produce. The hut next to us caught a bunch of perch on strictly dead sticks.

Good variety though.

2 pike
2 perch
1 Burbot
6 Herring? (bottom lip extended beyond the top lip)
The rest were Wally's with one keeper.

SSIC did a great job as hosts and even brought us some tools to fix one of our flashers.

Nice job on the multi species. Even without the keeper walter you would have had lots to eat. Beauty.

How were you fishing, what were the bite times like?

We're back up 2 weeks.

We're back up 2 weeks.

bite started around 8, in the sense that we caught 0 before 8am. Nothing after 6pm although the hut next to us was set up outside and caught a few small ones.

We were in 30 feet of water, used jigs tipped with minnow/heads and deadsticks with hook and split shot. Sweedish pimple jig worked the best of the jigs but the deadstick caught about 50% of our fish.

I tried lipless crankbaits but only caught one walleye.

I was jigging with rattlers and vibaratos to try to call them in but it wasn't working.

Averaged about 1 fish per hour with nothing at night. Didn't mark many at night either.

Dragged out a garbage bag full of beer cans though...
