Hello everyone!

Just wanted to thank all the LSO members and family and friends for another great season even with Covid 19 which set us back for some time but we managed to get enough trips out to make the season worthwhile

Lifted the boat out last week and all winterized and just waiting for shrink wrap and it's done for 2020

WE are already taking bookings for next year and are excited to get at the spring fishing next year. Watch out for the spring specials exclusive to board members

Ya , I know I should retire, but I love what I do and as long as I can move faster than most we'll keep at it

Again, thank you , you all make my season memorable

I will now focus on walleye and then steel in the lower Niagara

Good to hear you were able to make the season worthwhile, it has been a very different year for sure.

Cheers to many more years of fishing, no reason to cut back on the things we love to do. If nothing else this year proved you never know what could be next so enjoy it while you can.

Good luck with the fall fishing

Longshank, must have been a rough week, I believe the year is 2020. It is good that you managed to salvage the season with all this crap going on. Keep at it you do do a good job.

Glad you had a great year, too bad it didn't work for us this year.

Hopefully myself and my daughter can come out with you next year.

And always love the posts, thanks for sharing.

Congrats on another successful season
Do you ever or have you in the past ever gotten out later in the year (Oct., Nov.), for salmon on the lake?
Iíve only ever fished on the lake for them in the summer and spring, but you never hear much about fall/winter on the big water for them. Obviously thereís still fish out there cause they donít all spawn every year, is it just that the cooler water makes em scatter and harder to find, or is it the weather, or just they everyone wants a break from them

Thanks for the kind words folks

To answer a couple of questions. I mainly quite in late September just to get the boat out and winterized at the marina, plus there is always maintenance to due

It also seems that every year the weather is generally worse for winds at least

there ate always 4 year classes of salmonoids in the lake and finding the 2 and 3 year olds is very doable right up to freezup if you want.

just that people do begin to focus on other species, walleye, perch and steelhead and browns in the river.....so much diversity and so little time
