Has anyone tried Muskie Bay down on South Shore? I have been eyeing it up on Nav but haven’t ventured over there yet. Just wondering if it’s worth the trip.

That is out near my family's place. I haven't been out there on the ice, so I don't have much to report, but have the same interest as I have always dreamed of picking up the hard water hobby. It's a long ways to go from down here in Texas though, and our cabin isn't winterized. It'd be an adventure for the first year...

Hey Jacks, see that newish post about Simpson's Bay. It's just a couple bays over from Muskie Bay. Not too many details, but sounds productive if "Species" returns a couple times a year.
There is trough close to the mouth of the creek at the south end of Muskie Bay. Might give it try there on Sunday if timing works out. Gonna be slushy as $%#@ but my sled should be able to deal with it.
