Smelt fishing hawkstone

Has anyone heard if the smelts are running yet?

Haven't heard or seen a good smelt run on that side of the lake in quite some time. I still check regularly but the numbers just aren't there. Caught quite a few through the ice this year so they must be spawning somewhere, maybe under the ice? Who knows, best of luck.

I haven't fished for smelt in Hawkstone for quite a few years myself but I am now living a lot closer so I am thinking of trying it. You would think fish would change their migration routes but who knows.
