Last night was so windy, moved around a bit and found a place to hide with a bit of a wind break. Have no idea what happened to all the rain that was forecast. Fish were active all night, wind started to slow down at 1am. Lot's of rock bass as usual, 6 small mouth bass I released. One muskie released and 4 walleye and kept one. The muskie was no trophy, under 40 inches but a nice big surprise. I do not fish for muskie, but a few times here and there I don't mind catching a few... it is a good fight. Especially in the dark when your reel goes zzzzzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzz as you bring in the fish but you can't see anything. You just never know what can be on the end of your line when you fish in the dark. A big muskie or a beaver or an otter maybe a loon, who knows. Going for some more sleep now, here are some pictures. Stay safe.

Well done CM..

Thank you. Forgot to mention to the muskie people out there this is mutiple times I have caught big muskie with this lure. It was the green and red one and the others have caught muskie as well. They run 12 to 15 feet deep. Good for small mouth bass walleye pike and muskie around rocky drop offs etc. It is about the size and shape of an egg.

This is impressive. Ive been out at night for crappie, and walleye. I never thought musky would be up this late.

Yup they cruise the shallow water at night. There was a post from Jake 2000 on aug. 28th when he caught a big muskie in the dark. I usually catch 2 or 3 every season at night fishing for small mouth bass and walleye. Have even caught a couple on my three inch crappie baits. I would rather not catch them, but it is inevitable. And it is quite a fish so I take a picture and away it goes. But then it is usually a while before I start catching the fish I am targeting...that's the down side.
