To start, hope everyoneís having a great season! I donít think Iíve posted since the summer but Iíve been keeping up with all the posts & it looks like youíre all having a great winter

Iíve been working lots & not getting out nearly as much as Iíd like but Iíve still been managing to get out almost every day I have off

Anyways! Back to the point
Took a break from the usual spot a couple weeks ago when I got invited out to a friends backlake splake spot. It didnít disappoint is all I have to say! I ended up catching my personal best splake at just under 4 pounds it was a beautiful day to catch some fish..... no wind and the sun was shining the entire time

Great catch! Seems your friend has it dialed in. I can't seem to ice any over 3lb on our local lake.
