The Rice Lake Fishing Festival will celebrate its official kick-off on Saturday May 12 at Elmhirst’s Resort. An Exposition at 5pm will showcase local outfitters, adventures, experiences, resorts and venues unique to Rice Lake. Listen to the story of Rice Lake and join in the conversation as we share the Rice Lake adventure with you!

We are proud to announce the Ontario Minister of Tourism, Hon. Michael Chan will be the guest speaker for the evening as we celebrate the partnership of tourism, angling and community in a picturesque setting overlooking Rice Lake. The Kick-Off Dinner will begin at 7pm. Savour traditional Rice Lake fare prepared with home grown ingredients for a mouth-watering buffet featuring local cultural flavours, a signature feature of Elmhirst’s Resort!

Exposition Admission: FREE
Kick-Off Buffet Dinner: $35 per person

Media are invited to attend the Exposition and Dinner. Please contact the festival office if Kick-Off Buffet Dinner tickets are required.
