I bought a Frabill HQ 300 -- Do any of you have exp with this hut?

I wanted to get a Clam like my old one but it seems like the bigger 6-8 man huts are not sold in Ontario anywhere. Does anyone know of a place selling the bigger clams?

How about this one at Cabelas in Barrie. Ice Hut
There's another place in Orillia but I would not recommend it. Flyers were out last week, someone went to check and they still had not got their shipment. Hell they don't even have a website or on line flyer.

I recently bought my 4-5 man Thermal insulated Otter from basspro they did have a 4-5 & 6-8 man thermal insulated Clams that where very nice I must say and super spacious with a optional floor you can fold out that has 3 or 4 flip up rectangular ports for drilling 2 holes side by side for obvious reasons, to keep your feet dry and warm

I have previously bought a clam bigfoot xl2000 and the thing has been great. It just won't fit the 6-8 people in it that we want.

90" x 90" is a perfect size for 5 guys with bag chairs for 10 hours on the ice. with that 6th guy it takes out that tiny bit of space you need for the heater and flasher.

I looked at the Otter huts and they just didn't have great reviews and I won't ever buy an Eskimo based on the one we had last year. (peeling inside, ripped on the outside when it got popped.. stupid small bag to try and stick a ice hut back into)

Haven't had the chance to use it yet, going out Sunday.
The otter definitely is easier to pop up then a clam hut took me less then a minute.
big pocket on each side with 4 rod holders: 8 rod holders 2 pockets. 2 ports for propane tanks 2 large ceiling mesh for storage, Velcro removable windows: thermal window covers.
92"x92"

I used to have one. It's roomy. That means our will catch wind. Make sure the narrow sides is facing the wind. Anchor down before opening on windy days. The skirt and sides can rip easily with the auger blades. Make sure you keep your auger blades away from your hut. I hope that helps.
