I haven't been able to get out much recently and with the wind yesterday it was always going to be a mission. But I went for it.

Double bungeed to each anchor point and it held. Setting up I used my sled (sideways) to hold the tent while I get the other points bucked down.

Lots of these ciscos you call them biting steady all afternoon on spoon tipped with just the minnow head.

2 average Walley came right at sunset but it was difficult getting a pic that late.

Nothing special but it was definitely the strongest wind I have been out it so that's something.

Good to see you got out despite the conditions. VMC Tingler, one of my favourite spoons!

That wind was brutal, we saw someone’s hut tumbling away as he came sprinting out of his bungalow, it was a good 400m sprint for him before he caught up to it. No such thing as too many tie downs

Nice fish!!

Fisherman 2280. Were you by deep water point? I think I saw your tent near me. We were in a red 4 man and had 2 snowdogs there (great little machines to get me and my gear out). We landed seven walleye (two were keepers) and one perch. The bite started for us around 5 and ended by 6:30.

Cheers

Wasn't me, I've never made it to deep water yet but I've heard good things about it.

I live on the edge of NB so I just head down the street and walk out west of the docks a KM or until the legs says this is as far as I'm taking us today.

Snow mobile is looking like the next toy for sure, maybe next year.
