Went out for a couple hours after dinner tonight along with Mrs ZzzAngler. We did pretty good with 30 walleye between us. I didn’t get a keeper but she got TWO! A 21 incher and a beauty 26 incher! Again outfished by the ladies. And who says there aren’t any keepers in the lake!

And the women rule again...congrats to Mrs Zzz. Nice fish. And great that you guys are returning many of the larger fish as well. Just proves once again there's lots and lots of keeper sized fish in the lake. Use the right techniques but even more importantly...fish the right locations and pattern the fish properly for the time of the year you're fishing...and you can catch all the bigger walleye you want.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread but I just have to prove I am not ALWAYS out-fished by my wife. We went out a couple hours this evening and got 26 walleye between us, including 3 keepers all between 19 and 21 inches. I managed to out do her tonight but just barely. Kept a couple this time for a fish dinner with company this week It’s hard to believe some people feel there are no keepers in the lake. We got 5 in the in our last two outings.
