Lots of bare ice. Bring your creepers. Also some slushy spots still, where snow has drifted and managed to stick. Was out in ATV yesterday on the lake and smooth sailing. Stay away from the drifts near shore where most slush was. I measured 30” ice about 50/50 black/white. Fished for 10min, marked one lazy fish on bottom in 40ft. Then my son wanted me to drag him around behind the ATV on his GT so that was the rest of the afternoon lol

Cool. Thanks for the report. I haven't been out in almost a week but think the ice should be about what you saw...but maybe not as thick. I know those days when you think you are going to fish and "something" comes up. Fun and nice to be outside in the sun and with the kid.
Maybe in a few years, he will be dragging you around on his GT!
