Good morning, I'm heading to Chatham this weekend to pick up my boat. Thinking of launching in Lake Erie in that area to target walleye.. couple questions: 1. where are the shoals of fish moving this time of year? 2. any boat launches you could recommend to target them? I typically fish Georgian Bay, but don't know Erie.. Thanks in advance!

I'd fish out of Erieau if I was you. Not sure what kind of boat you have but Erie pics are similar to trolling for salmon. 2.2-2.5mph is a good start. 2.8mph sometimes to keep the junk fish off the lines. Rippling redfin gold is a good producer. I wouldn't be to worried about structure. It's a massive school of pics heading east right now.
