Greg and I were on the water just after 7:30AM and concentrated our efforts around the Oro Reef for starters. Marked a few fish, but no action.

Ran down close to the mouth of Kempenfelt Bay and started marking more fish in deep water, scattered anywhere from 60ft deep to the bottom in 126fow.

Greg picked up a nice laker in the 8-10lb range-we didn't weigh it, on a Stingray spoon-multi coloured. I had a hit on a chartreuse Mepps Scyclops, but it didn't even result in a knock off.

Saw one other boat land a fish in that area.

Ran out deeper to where some boats were jigging, but didn't mark very much.

Trolled back to Oro 9, no action and we were off the water at 2:30PM.

Washed a lot of different lures.

Great day to be out, sunny, not too hot, very little wind and good company. Only way it gets better is if the fish were more active. Anyways the boat has been slimed for 2018.

If the weather is good next Wednesday, thinking of heading to Bluffers on Lake "O". we shall see.

Pic is Greg with his laker.

Good times with good company are a guarantee, catching fish not so much so.
