Always fun being out on water every chance I get I’m fishing!! I hit a couple usual spots in hopes of finding Giant smallmouth I know they are there I’ve caught much bigger in the area over the years.. I mixed it up starting with top water arsenal ie jitterbug and poppers.. nothing, found some lillies threw frog nothing so to my rocky edges with jig and whacky dinger 12 smallies and a pile of rock bass few chunky ones too but the smallmouth all tiny biggest 1.5lbs... great numbers but no giants today.. super hot today too had a great day 😁

I had a similar day yesterday, caught a bunch of small smallies and a couple rock bass. My buddy landed a 3lb 12oz Largemouth though.
