Hey All,

Whats going on? Hope everyone's had a chance to get their lines wet and haul in a couple.

My season has been quite different, became a father recently, and boy I tell ya things change fast. I am hoping to make a trip out in late August, wondering how the bites been?

I have been fishing the French for 7-8 years now, fully enjoy it and love it very much. I cannot wait to get out there! Let me know how its been. I am staying in Wolsely Bay want to make out like a bandit as time is precious and limited as you can imagine.

I have my usual spots, but always interested in exploring new ones. If I can get an update or some tips on new spots would greatly appreciate it! PM if that's best, no probs in sharing.

Planning on trying out Chaudrier rapids with a guide hopefully as I wouldn't be able to get their myself, but ya fully open to learning and exploring.

Thank you all in advance. Tight lines!

What setup works best for the Walters? I personally enjoy lindy rig as I found that to be most productive in these waters, of course, tipped with live bait.

What about others? Its a tricky body to fish, but always great to explore it! Every year find something new .
