Just curious To know if the fishing is better early in the season rather then later?? Heading to chilly Willy Jan 10 weekend

Yeah I agree from my experience on Nip early Jan is better —- generally as winter gets colder and lake levels drop the bite slows then picks up in late feb early March. Of course there can always be exceptions ....

Too funny. That happened to us last year. Going up to Anglers Haven on the 31st. Hoping fish won’t be watching Super Bowl.

I prefer early ice but have had great fishing in February as well.. I got to try the March thing just one time
