One fish any size, and one in your possession. Everybody gets a fish fry

I agree, one fish per day, especially the one you know won’t survive.
Good for all concerned and shouldn’t make a big difference with the MNR objectives

So do you mean 2 fish (of any size) in your possession?

I think that most people would be happy with 1 fish...any size.
...better than taking 2 large fish.

I agree one fish maybe under the slot and one over 46cm. Last Friday the Wife and I were out and we got 16 and all about 17". Not one keeper. On Sat we got 6 and one was 45 cm (still too small).

We average 10 eyes every time we go out at camp and have only got one keeper in our boat this year - so far.

I don't know exactly how to word it but i'd be happy with your catch limit and possession limit being the same, so you must consume your one fish any size, before you can keep anymore and only one per day. every buddy gets a taste if you go on a week long trip, you could keep a max of seven fish, if you ate one every day.
